Born in Mersing, Johor, Mr Halim get his first education at SM Sri Mersing, Johor. After getting the result in SRP (also known as PMR nowadays) he then went to MRSM Jasin. He finished his secondary school there. Later He pursuing his study in Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Mara Community College Kuantan (also known as KPTM Kuantan). After that, he furthuring his study at Kolej Legenda Langkawi and get his first degree in Computer Science from UTM Skudai.

After completing his study, Mr. Halim get his first job as a substitute teacher at SMK Anjung Batu Mersing. After a few months, he then get a new job at Shimano Mersing as an assistant engineer. After several months, he then be promoted as Quality Engineer. After that, he change his career from engineering to sports. He went for Johor Corporation Football Club (also known as Johor FC) to be the web designer and fan club committee member. After that, he have to move to Kuantan. In Kuantan, Mr Halim get his first job as sales executive. But in less than 2 months, he got a new job as a programmer at Net East Technology Sdn Bhd on contract basis. After the contract expired, Mr Halim were lucky because Cosmopoint really need a lecturer. After a few month working as a part timer and contract basis, Mr Halim is offered a permanent job at Cosmopoint Kuantan until now.
